Money has a peculiar way of motivating people. It can lead intelligent people to make poor decisions and cause typically mild-mannered people to behave in ways that are inappropriate. This is so that a demonic spirit known as mammon won’t be drawn to the Church and services that we see in recent times,
We must be careful not to be swayed by Mammon Spirit since it functions in direct contradiction to God’s principles.
The spirit of mammon attaches itself to money, and influences people to trust it instead of God. Indeed?
The spirit of mammon clings to money and persuades people to put their faith in it rather than in God.
Everything that will come from Jesus’s redemptive sacrifice has to be free. If it is Jesus then it has to be free. Anything you have to tap into or exchange for with money is not what Jesus redemptive sacrifice has provided.
“but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.””
John 4:14 ESV
“But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!”
Acts 8:20 ESV
You can’t buy what God gives.
Eph 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,”
Ephesians 2:8 ESV
so the gift of God is free. Examine what kind of a father that we are talking about as God in some of our churches today? Such that you will have to pay with money before you can have audience with him, if you want him to answer you fast you have to sow a sacrificial seed. you have to sow a seed each prophetic service or prayer session.
Jesus’ atoning work is free and without any conditions. It is not something that can be purchased with money or resources. The Holy Ghost is given to those who repent and are baptized in Jesus’ name for sin forgiveness. The gift of God is unpaid, and it is not something that can be bought with money. Jesus’ gift is not something that can be purchased with money, but rather, it is a gift from God, not something that can be bought with money. if you are led by The Holy Spirit to give to a man of God you will certainly be rewarded by God for your obedience to Him but that cannot be the norm or doctrine that everyone must comply before receiving blessings from God, No one can question what God Himself has directed you to do and the spirit of man is the candle of the lord.
The teaching by some Ministry practitioners that you should sow into the life of prophets and men of God in order to prosper is not a sound doctrine. it is instructive to know that The Bible does not explicitly state or emphasize that we should sow into the life of a prophet or a man of God to prosper. Instead, it emphasizes seeking first the kingdom of God and living in alignment with His righteousness, trusting that God will add all other things unto us.
Selling of wristbands. Prayer bulletin. Calendars etc in the church is no different from those who are selling anointing oil, handkerchief etc to their congregation. It lacks sound Biblical doctrine.
I’m not referring to those who have designated book shop where such items are sold without any pressure and purchases are done on a free Will basis.
It’s about time we take a critical look at ourselves and our leaders regardless of titles and positions.
Let’s examine ourselves to see if we are being controlled and being led by the Holy Spirit or the demonic spirit known as mammon. Let’s all prayerfully test the spirits.
The Spirit of God is upon me to set the captives free.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
1 John 4:1 ESV
“We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.”
1 John 4:6 ESV
Before you start planing of victimizing a child of God at the office or a servant of Christ in Ministry for standing for the truth. Remember that
The. Lord has ransomed Jacob and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him.”
Jeremiah 31:11 ESV
Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
Prayer:
Lord, your will for us includes financial prosperity. However, one of the things Jesus taught us is that a wrong relationship with money damages our lives. Thank You for warning us about the dangers of trusting in it more than in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
May God remember you and intervene in your situation.
