It can be hard to remind yourself that God is never early, nor is He ever late. God has a plan for you and for each of us children. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help strengthen your faith and build an undying belief in God’s timing, His plan, and His mysterious workings in our lives.
It’s easy to look around and feel ahead or behind. Someone graduated at 22 but found their calling at 27. A CEO was born at 25; another became CEO at 50. Someone is a young grandparent; someone else finds love later. Obama retired at 55; Trump began at 70. Someone got married at age 23 and got divorced at age 29. Someone married at age 38 and has been married for the past 40years with peace and still counting.
Comparison will steal your peace. But remember: God is never early, never late. He has a plan uniquely and purposefully designed for you. You are not running someone else’s race. You are walking your own path, at your own pace, guided by a divine schedule.
So take a deep breath and release the envy, the anxiety, the rush. Your life is not a mistake, and your timing is not off.
You are not late.
You are not early.
You are right on time for everything meant for you.
“There is a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Trust that every moment of your journey was ordained by God. What may have been meant for your harm, He will weave into your good.
Be at peace. Your time zone is sacred. Have unwavering faith in His mysterious, perfect workings. You are exactly where you are meant to be.
