Truth is said to exist irrespective of our thoughts or opinions because it stands alone and does not require your acceptance or agreement. Or, to put it another way, whether we like it or not, the truth is objective and true. Truth does not need executive approval.

*John 8:32, states, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”* This verse highlights the liberating power of truth and emphasizes the importance of seeking it out and embracing it, rather than clinging to falsehoods or lies.

This idea is frequently used when discussing contentious or delicate subjects where various viewpoints or ideologies may exist. The premise is that the truth should be determined by the evidence and logical reasoning rather than by general consensus or individual prejudices.

This proverb also conveys the idea that it’s critical to seek out and accept the truth, regardless of how unpleasant or inconvenient it may be. It might be difficult to accept the truth when it necessitates admitting we were mistaken or revising our ideas. However, suppressing or avoiding the truth can have negative repercussions and hold us back from moving forward.

In conclusion, the adage “truth does not need your acceptance or permission for it stands alone” serves as a reminder of the significance of finding out and accepting objective truths, regardless of our personal beliefs or viewpoints. Making better decisions and working toward a society that is more honest and just is possible by doing this.

May God remember you and grant you The Spirit of Understanding.
