“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35

Love is not some big sermon. It is a sandwich you hand to a hungry guy on the street. It is a bag of groceries left for a neighbor who does not even bother to say thanks. Compassion does not start in some smart idea, and certainly not just in the hands. It actually begins when a heart stands willing to just feel something.

We are living in a pretty broken world. People will never bother to quote your deep theology, and they probably won’t marvel at whatever gifts you think you have. But they will remember if you were kind to them. Maybe they have no clue you are a leader or a pastor, but they will know you cared. They might look at your prayers as some foreign language, but they surely feel your presence when everything is falling apart and they need to cry. That is the Christian who gets it—someone whose life just speaks for itself, even to folks who do not believe any of this.

It is deeply Christian to be kind. To be thoughtful for no good reason. To give a piece of yourself away and expect absolutely nothing back. To be honest, some of us have lived on the same block. for years and never actually crossed the street to see how our neighbors are doing. God is waiting on us to fix that.

Money is not the issue here. You do not need to be rich to love someone, you just need a willing spirit. And once you actually want to love people, you start finding creative ways to do it.

So here is a small task for this week. Do one quiet physical action. Pick up some extra groceries and give them to someone. No fine print and no sermons attached. Simply let them know, “This is love from Jesus. God bless you.” Go out of your way to help someone who physically cannot repay you or even say thank you. That is not marketing and that is not a transaction. This is the kingdom.

It always comes back to the power of one person. One million is really just one and one and one and eventually you. An army is never a giant faceless crowd; it’s a single human being, then another guy, then another. Do not worry about changing thousands of lives right now. Focus on one. Let that one person be you.

Do the thing you wish others would do. Somewhere else, someone will see this and join. Then another person joins. Next thing you know, we are actually an army. It’s some big force ready to change the whole structure of things with nothing but a quiet, loving heart.

Just start being that one helper.
Be that one. Today.

Thanks for reading dear; May God’s Wisdom lead us and may His Peace remain steady within you. I urge you to like , subscribe and share it to bless others. Shalom Chaverim.
