The noise one makes in opposition to corruption increases with distance from the source of power; it decreases with proximity.
There are various instances where the notion that “the further one is from power, the higher the noise he makes against corruption; the closer he gets, the lesser the noise; and the noise ceases if he is in power” applies.
Regardless of our position of authority, the Scriptures underline the importance of speaking out for justice and defending the rights of the disadvantaged.
Several verses in the Bible support the idea of speaking up against injustice and defending the oppressed:
1. ““Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:8-9 ESV. These lyrics stress that everyone has a duty to stand up for the oppressed and uphold justice for all, regardless of their position of authority.
2. “Learn to do what is right; seek justice, in Isaiah 1:17. Guard the mistreated. Make a widow’s case while taking up the cause of the fatherless. This book underlines the necessity of actively seeking justice and advocating for the oppressed, emphasizing the necessity of using our influence to bring about change.
These verses serve as a reminder that seeking justice and exhibiting compassion for others ought to be fundamental requirements for leading a life that is in line with God’s purpose.
Regardless of our position of authority, they inspire us to speak out against corruption and fight for the rights of the weak.
May God remember you and grant us the Grace to walk in the fear of God.
Be Blessed dear!!!
