“Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
Isaiah 33:6 NKJV
Seven critical mistakes that can damage your life if not addressed. My emphasis is on personal growth, self-awareness, and positive habits to lead a more fulfilling life as we graciously trust God to shepherd us to end of year and go through the new year and beyond;
🚩 1. Living to Please Others:
When your main goal is seeking approval, you risk losing your authentic self. The biggest mistake is sacrificing your dreams to meet others’ expectations. If you have to seek for alternatives or change jobs do so prayerfully.
Many who have left their vocation or jobs to go into full-time Ministry based on the say so of self acclaimed Prophets and Bishops have had casualties and regrets after decades of ministry work or serving under African leaders. Tip: Stay true to your passions and values. Move with Divine Conviction. Bootlicking wrapped in loyalty won’t help you.
🚩 2. Fearing Failure.
Fear paralyzes more people than failure itself.
Playing safe limits opportunities for growth and happiness.
Encouragement: Embrace failure as a learning experience.
🚩 3. Wasting Time:
Time is the only non-renewable currency. Procrastination and distractions steal your future.
Advice: Live intentionally and don’t delay action.
🚩 4. Holding on to the Past:
Regrets and resentments hinder progress. Growth begins when you let go of yesterday.
Suggestion: Practice forgiveness and focus on the present.
🚩 5. Neglecting Health:
Pursuing success while ignoring mental and physical health is like building on a weak foundation. Health is the true wealth that enables all other pursuits.
Reminder: Take care of your body and mind daily.
🚩 6. Settling for Less.
Accepting toxic relationships, unfulfilling jobs, or small dreams keeps you stuck. Settling is self-betrayal and prevents true happiness.
Tip: Aim for growth, not comfort in mediocrity.
🚩 7. Forgetting Gratitude.
Constantly chasing more without appreciating what you have leads to emptiness. Gratitude transforms what you perceive as little into abundance.
Practice: Cultivate daily gratitude.
Thanks for reading. May this new season bring happiness to you and your loved ones. Stay focused and Blessed.
