When you cast your seed in the presence of God, I know it brings positive results, but when it is based on manipulation and coercion, it is witchcraft, and it brings reproach to the congregation.
Witchcraft is when you compel your will over somebody’s will to do something against his will. It is domination and intimidation, and it’s the work of the flesh, according to Gal. 5:19–20.
”O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?“
Galatians 3:1 KJV
Make sure you avoid falling for deceptive or charlatanic advertisements at places of worship.
Giving all of your first-month salary to a man of God or a church at the beginning of a new year in the name of first fruit to attract blessings throughout the new year is not a sound biblical doctrine. Some ministry practitioners who ask their congregation to give their first-month salary, do so out of ignorance, some do so out of greed and some are also doing so through manipulation, which is akin to witchcraft. Let’s test the spirit to ascertain what kind of spirit is leading the church you attend as a believer.
When it comes to giving, whether it be inside or outside of the church, as a believer, what you truly need is to know God for yourself, listen to your inner man, and follow your inner spirit, which, according to the Bible, is the candle of the Lord.
I believe in giving, but my advice is that you shouldn’t be an emotional giver. That, people are going forward to give in the church auditorium doesn’t mean you should also give. Giving must be guided by wisdom and not by emotions.
People must give by revelation or by faith, not by manipulation, emotionalism, or self-aggrandizement.
