In the development of the body of Christ, Eschewing the propensity of stardom in the building of the body of Christ is about rejecting the desire for personal fame or recognition within the Christian community. It emphasizes the importance of humility, unity, and focusing on the collective growth and edification of believers.
There are numerous passages in the Bible that support this idea. The apostle Paul used the comparison of the human body to the body of Christ to demonstrate how interwoven and dependent each member of the body of Christ is in 1 Corinthians 12:12–26, for instance. Regardless of their unique responsibilities or prominence, this passage emphasises how important it is for all members to collaborate well.
Philippians 2:3–4 is a verse that encourages Christians to put others’ needs ahead of their own and to look out for their own. It is another verse that supports this idea. Instead of focusing on gaining praise or fame for oneself, this verse encourages selflessness and a servant’s heart.
Overall, biblical teachings on humility, unity, and putting the needs and progress of the Christian community at large above personal success and stardom are the foundation for the need to avoid this tendency in the development of the body of Christ.
May God remember you and grant us the Grace to walk in the fear of God.
Be Blessed dear!!!
