Love Everyone, But Don’t Make Friends With Everyone” Is Essential To A Long Life. “A Relationship Is A Choice, But Love Is A Command

Adherence to the maxim “love everyone, but don’t make friends with everyone” is essential to a long life. “A relationship is a choice, but love is a command.”

If people don’t want you around, it’s because they don’t know how valuable and worthwhile you are, so never try to fit in and make yourself feel like you have to. Being humble does not mean undervaluing oneself.

Being loving and nice to everyone we come into contact with is crucial in life. Harmony and empathy for others are fostered by the fundamental commandment of love. But developing meaningful connections calls for discretion and thoughtful thought. It is vital to understand that not every person we meet will be a good fit for us or contribute to our well-being.

A number of texts in the Bible support this approach. Proverbs 12:26 is one of these verses; it says, “The way of the wicked leads them astray, but the righteous choose their friends carefully.” The need to choose our relationships carefully is emphasized in this text. One way to protect our mental, emotional, and even physical health is to choose carefully who we let into our closest circles.

An additional verse that bolsters this idea is 1 Corinthians 15:33, which says, “Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.'” The impact of our connections on ourselves is emphasized in this poem. We can suffer from unfavourable effects that impede our personal development when we are surrounded by poisonous or destructive influences. As such, we must shield ourselves from harmful associations and preserve healthy boundaries.

We can handle our contacts more intelligently if we realise that, while love is a commandment, relationships are a decision. Although we should be mindful about who we let into our inner circles, we can still show love and kindness to everyone we come into contact with. We may surround ourselves with positive, encouraging, and enriching individuals when we make relationships based on mutual respect, trust, compatibility, and shared beliefs. Don’t hang around people that empty you, hang around people that will trigger the potential in you, Look for inspirers not those who have expired. Indeed, that you have done something for 30 years does not make it right, you need to review and appraise your friendship. you need to change circles, sometimes you need to even prayerfully change the church you attend.

In summary, adherence to the engagement rule—love everyone but don’t make friends with everyone—is essential for a long and happy life. Biblical teachings that advise us to make thoughtful relationship choices are consistent with this idea. Happiness, contentment, and a long life are possible when we make deliberate decisions in our relationships.
