Life is a journey, and each person is secretly engaged in combat for themselves. We frequently lose sight of the sufferings of others because we are preoccupied with our own problems.

If only the poor knew the price the rich paid to get to the top and if only the rich knows the battles, challenges that the poor is going through, none will ever form a theory about each other.

We would always be thankful to God for our own life if we could only completely understand the struggles and hardships that others endure. We can truly comprehend the challenges faced by others when we put ourselves in their position. We must help each other in this way, encourage development, mock each other less, be envious of no one, and, most importantly, love each other without conditions.

1. The Invisible Struggles: A lot of the challenges people encounter are not readily apparent. Individuals may struggle inside, bear great loads, or experience bodily or mental suffering. It’s critical to recognise that people’s journeys are not always accurately reflected by what appears on the outside.

The Bible says: “And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” – From Ephesians 5:2

This verse serves as a reminder for us to love others as Christ did. Empathy and understanding are skills that we can use to show compassion to others and foster a supportive and upbeat environment.

2. Stepping Foot in Another Person’s Shoes: We have to put ourselves in other people’s shoes in order to fully comprehend the struggles they endure. This is putting ourselves in their shoes, trying to see things from their perspective, and recognizing the obstacles they have faced and are still facing. Then and only then will we be able to recognize their inner power and fortitude.

Scripture from the Bible: “Celebrate with those who celebrate, and weep with those who mourn.” – Romans 12:15

This verse encourages us to celebrate and show compassion for everyone, no matter what their situation may be. It inspires us to be there for one another in happy and sad times, fostering a sense of oneness.

3. Encourage One Another to Grow: When we stand by and support one another, we create an atmosphere that is conducive to advancement and growth. Let’s support and raise others around us instead of putting each other down. Not only does this deed of generosity and selflessness assist others, but it also improves our own life.

The Bible says: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.” Paul, Galatians 6:2.

The significance of bearing one another’s hardships is emphasized in this verse. By supporting and assisting one another, we can uphold the supreme law of love, just as Christ bore the burden of our sins.

4. Mock Fewer, But Envy Nobody:
Comparison and jealousy stoke discontent and impede one’s own development. Let’s celebrate and draw inspiration from others’ accomplishments rather than making fun of or feeling envious of them. We foster a culture of positivity and encouragement by concentrating on our own journeys and helping others on theirs.

“Do not act in self-serving ambition or conceit. Instead, humble yourself and put others before yourself.” – Philippians  2:3.

We are reminded to be humble and to value other people by this passage. It motivates us to place a higher priority on the prosperity and well-being of others, promoting harmony and sincere concern.

To sum up

We gain a deeper appreciation for our own life when we learn about the struggles people face in the background. We can acquire empathy and cultivate compassion by putting ourselves in other people’s shoes. We make a community that is encouraging and welcoming when we encourage one another, love one another, and laugh less at one another. By doing this, we all help each other along the way towards better personal development and a more promising future. Thanks for reading. May The Lord bestow favour and honour upon you.
